Howard Dean Criticizes Health Reform Bill

This morning on ABC’s Good Morning America , former Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean said that the current health reform bill is not worth passing. There’s not really any other way to look at this other than it’s a biting rebuke from a prominent voice from the liberal side of the aisle. Dean, who is also the former governor of Vermont, said that the bill in its current form is “a bigger bailout for the insurance industry than AIG.” According to Dean, 27 percent of the premiums people will pay for their health insurance will go into CEO’s pockets.
